LACING:

Sequence Boa®

Micro-Adjustable, Uniform Fit The Sequence BOA® Fit System has two distinct lace paths for a uniform fit and secure heel hold with the twist of a single dial.

The micro-adjustable fit just adds to the ease and on-the-fly experience.

Boa Coiler Closure System Powered by Burton Exclusive New England Ropes

New England Ropes use American-made fibers and are virtually indestructible, won't kink, and are easy to re-lace

LINER:

Imprint™ 2 with Lock-Up Cuff

heat-moldable liner features 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation for additional low-bulk warmth along with hook-and-loop closure for a snug fit.

This super low-profile inner cuff carries the laces around the ankle for consistent and secure heel hold with effortless entry and exit.

CUSHIONING

Burton Recycled Content Rubber with Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil

This low profile and lightweight underfoot shield reflect heats back to the feet, improving both warmth and comfort when faced with cold conditions. Innovative cushioning:

Burton uses Total Comfort Construction to ensure your boot feels right immediately, with no need to break them in.

3M™ Thinsulate™

EST 0mm Heel Rise

EST goes beyond bindings by drawing inspiration from the surf / skate heritage of snowboarding and giving you a more direct connection to your boards.

By eliminating the ramp angle of your outsole, EST Lowers your center of gravity, improves board feel, and creates a more surf/skate like feel.

All without sacrificing an ounce of cushioning thanks to ultra dampening ReBounce and B3 Gel inserts.

FLEX AND RESPONSE:

Responsive, Medium Stiff Feel Flex A not too stiff, not too soft flex means you can push your skills without being pushed around.

1:1 firm flex PowerUp tongue creates a snug fit between boot and tongue, eliminating the need to readjust while you ride

GripLITE backstay snugs up the fit between the boot and hi-back for direct energy transfer and reduced rider fatigue

Cuff Clips

To make it easy, Step On Boots feature a cuff clip on the back of the boot. Simply slide the pant cuff (not the elastic gaiter) down the back of the boot and into the cuff clip.

Pros of BOA® Lacing

It is easy to fine-tune tightness with micro-adjustments Pop out the coiler for quick and easy comfort on the lift or during après

All boot adjustments can be made while wearing gloves/mittens

A single-coiler system tightens and loosens evenly across the entire foot

Cons of BOA® Lacing

The coiler interface may take a couple of uses before it feels intuitive

It can be easy to over-tighten with BOA® and cause foot fatigue

A single-coiler system does not allow for independent tightness of the upper and lower zones

The BOA® coiler sticks off the boot and can get caught on things

Replacing a broken coiler or cable requires additional parts and can be complicated

BOA® lacing snowboard boots are generally more expensive

    Step On

    Step On
Strapless snowboard bindings, are notable for their lack of straps. These systems typically require compatible boots to function properly; for example, Burton’s Step On system needs Step On boots with heel and toe cleats that connect to corresponding hardware on the bindings. Strapless bindings enable quick and easy entry and exit while delivering the same board control and support as traditional strap bindings.

    Lacing

    Boa

    Boa
The BOA Fit System has emerged as an industry standard, providing a quick and easy twist-to-tighten feature. It includes a knob (called the Coiler™) positioned on the front or side of the boot, which adjusts the tightness using cables or ropes routed inside the boot shell. To tighten the laces, just twist the knob, and to loosen them, simply pull the coiler out.

    Boot Liner

    Heat Moldable

    Heat Moldable
Boot liners can be heat molded by a professional to quickly create a perfect fit around your foot. Additionally, most liners will "pack out" and adapt to the wearer's foot with use, so simply wearing them for longer periods can also improve the fit.
